Places to stay in Chico

I can't say enough good things about Andrea and Richard's place. It was the perfect home away from home during the weekend of our son's wedding. The home is very well maintained. The space is beautifully decorated with very comfortable furnishings. I particularly loved spending quiet mornings on the couch, wrapped in one of the soft throw blankets. The bed was very nice with comfy pillows and bedding. The place has everything you need including a nice welcome basket of snacks. To top all of that, Andrea and her son were so nice. Our car would not start and they did not hesitate to come to our rescue. They are wonderful people and we were so happy we got to meet them. I will be back!

We return to Andrea's amazing farmhouse every year for our annual book club selection meeting weekend and it is the most perfect, beautiful location and home. We rent the cottage and the home so we have the whole property and often never leave, enjoying the peaceful orchard setting and ample space to share food and wine around the spacious kitchen table, catch up in the living room, or relax in the beautiful patio spaces. Andrea is an amazing host who makes us feel more than AirBnb patrons - we feel like cherished guests. Plenty of beds for our party of 10-ish and all of the beds are super comfy. The layout of the bathrooms might be awkward to share with a workgroup or people you don't know well, but we are family & friends and it works great for us. We have some older members that appreciate having 2 rooms on the ground floor and we love the sleepover party feel of the bunkroom. Would be an amazing home for family reunions, a friends get together, wedding weekend, etc

Beautiful place and absolutely comfortable. Rooms on the first story a bit cold, it seems the heather does not reach enough hot air downstairs. The whole house lace is just a joy to stay.

This place is such a great place to stay. This is the second year in a row I have stayed here and it is so nice and is in a good location with a lot of great restaurants and is very clean. House has a great style. And the owner is always communicative and always accommodating. Highly recommended! I’ll be back next year :)

My 79 year old mother rented this remarkable home for a reunion trip with 5 of her college roommates...all CSUC alumni. I did the computer foot work to secure the house, but needed communication by phone to be an option for my mom once the trip arrived. Bri didn't hesitate to make herself available, going above and beyond from check in to their departure. My mother and the other gals haven't stopped raving about what an incredible time they had and how ideal the house was. It was relaxing, quiet, and provided the perfect setting for these ladies to reconnect. Even my mother, who has lived here over 60 years, "forgot" she was in Chico and felt like she was on vacation...even though she was just minutes from her house! I can't thank Bri enough for helping make this reunion trip that much more special for them by being and staying so communicative, and providing such a beautiful space for them to stay.

Beautiful space with many quality amenities. The place was very clean and comfortable and looked just like the pictures. We were able to prepare a full thanksgiving meal for my son who is attending college in Chico using the kitchen and what was available. I appreciated that the cookware all appeared to be new and quality. Communication with the hosts was so easy. They were very responsive and very hospitable. They left us a nice welcome gift, fully stocked Pete’s coffee for the Keurig, and cold water bottles in the fridge. The space is right off of a busy road and so there was constant road noise but the street it’s on was quiet. We had white noise machines with us which helped at night. There were also fans in the two rooms that would have helped. One thing that I didn’t notice from the pictures, before we booked, was that there are no windows on the second floor where the bedrooms are.
